Interim HealthCare Celebrates 60th Anniversary, Relaunches Strategic Franchise Expansion, and Recognizes 24 Months of Corporate Momentum

Interim HealthCare Inc., the nation’s leading network of home healthcare and staffing services that span the care continuum, is celebrating its 60th anniversary this month. The company is recognized as the nation’s first home-based care franchise opportunity and is marking this milestone by recognizing the strength of its franchise partners, all locally owned and operated, so patients, clients, families, and employees stay connected to their communities.

Founded in 1966, Interim HealthCare continues to innovate to best serve clients, employees, and franchisees alike. The company spent the past two years partnering with franchisees to develop new operations manuals, implement new technology, and create fresh company branding. These efforts led to a relaunch of its strategic franchise expansion program, which not only invites new franchisees into the system, but also adds opportunities for current franchisees to expand.

“We saw an opportunity to leverage our 60 years of success and position the company for another 60 years of growth,” said Rexanne Domico, President and CEO of Interim HealthCare. “Working closely with our franchisees ensures that we have a model that works for everybody, which is important because the strength of the company’s brand has always been our local, community-minded approach.”

This approach is working well for Interim HealthCare and its franchisees. According to the recently released 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, average gross revenue for single-unit territories grew 10.12% in 2025, increasing from $3,458,683 in 2024 to $3,808,529 in 2025.

Interim HealthCare successfully completed several milestones leading up to this important point in the brand’s history:

  • Rexanne Domico was named President and CEO in January 2025, bringing significant home-based care experience to the Interim company family, including leadership roles at HomeFree Pharmacy Services, BrightSpring Health Services, and LHC Group.

  • Interim HealthCare quadrupled the size of its field support team, equipping them with new tracking programs to serve franchisees proactively, as well as increasing responsiveness to their urgent needs.

  • Updated Operations Manuals. The company published new Performance Playbooks for each of its service lines: Personalized Care at Home, Home Healthcare, Hospice Care, and Medical Staffing, each modernized regularly to reflect the latest industry regulations and best practices.

  • Interim HealthCare franchisees can now access all materials needed to run their franchise businesses on a new AI-integrated internal platform that delivers the right solutions for the right patients.

  • The company launched a new brand strategy, amplifying the values of locally owned, operated, and community-involved businesses that are responsive to the needs of patients, clients, families, and employees. New graphics include a new tagline, Always There When You Need Care™.

  • Interim HealthCare is a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association and exceeded its fundraising pledge in 2025, with a new program ready to go in 2026. This partnership also supported a new edition of the company’s successful dementia care program.

  • Following a strategic pause on new franchise sales, the company relaunched a strategic franchise expansion program, which brings new franchisees into the system and adds opportunities for current franchisees to expand their businesses.

  • In January, Interim HealthCare acquired its second-largest franchise, one of the longest-tenured franchise operations in the network, located in the Upstate and Midlands of South Carolina.

“The integration process of this newly acquired franchise has been very smooth and has opened up new resources for the network as a whole,” said Domico. “Over the last two years, franchise partners, their local staff, and our national support team have worked incredibly hard to position Interim HealthCare for the future.”
