DNAnexus Named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 List, the Most Prestigious Ranking of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies

DNAnexus today announced it has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list, the annual list of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list is the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s prominent independent and entrepreneurial businesses, recognizing companies that have achieved remarkable growth while driving innovation, creating jobs, and shaping the future of the economy. Past honorees include companies such as Microsoft, Meta, Chobani, Oracle, and Patagonia.

“Inclusion in the Inc. 5000 fastest-growing companies reflects the trust the world’s leading health and life sciences organizations place in DNAnexus,” said Thomas Laur, CEO of DNAnexus. “For years, we have empowered them to turn their omics data into governed, AI-ready assets, fueling the discoveries that improve patient outcomes. Our exceptional growth over the past few years signals the rapid emergence of the molecular data object across Healthcare. As omics and AI converge, DNAnexus has become the clear standard for turning that convergence into scientific breakthroughs.”

The recognition caps a period of accelerating growth for DNAnexus, the platform where frontier science happens. Founded in 2009, it has become foundational to modern scientific pursuits. DNAnexus is home to the largest globally connected community of scientists, spanning over 64,000 researchers across 54 countries and 130+ enterprises, running on 135+ petabytes of omics data. Omics is the world’s most complex data in healthcare as it is longitudinal, multimodal, computationally heavy, and subject to the most rigorous regulatory scrutiny in science. DNAnexus turns omics data into a reusable, enterprise-grade asset, validated to the same standard whether a scientist or an AI model acts on it. It is where AI is orchestrated across the precision health ecosystem, and where data becomes discovery at an unmatched industrial scale.

This year’s Inc. 5000 recognizes a new class of companies redefining what growth looks like. From AI and advanced manufacturing to healthcare, consumer products, and professional services, these businesses are expanding their impact, creating jobs and proving that entrepreneurial ambition continues to fuel the U.S. economy. Among the 5,000 companies on the list, the median three-year revenue growth rate was 130%, and those companies have collectively added more than 627,208 jobs to the U.S. economy over the past three years.
