FAIR OAKS RANCH, Texas, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Things just got a little bigger in Texas, at least for Monkee’s. On Aug. 20, the franchise opened an additional store in Boerne, TX, marking its eighth Texas location. Within a year, this veteran‑owned, ground‑up project has transformed concrete walls into a space designed for its customers, ensuring an atmosphere that is anything but bland.

Each Monkee’s location adds to the brand’s signature flair while offering a unique personality shaped by the community it serves. Store owner Kelli Hull, along with her husband Chris, set out to do just that.

The store’s opening caps a year of dedicated work. Throughout the process, the Hulls remained motivated by a desire to inspire intentionality, personal styling, and community partnerships—values reflected from the foundation to the racks.

“People are a little bit frustrated with a lack of customer service, not only in retail but in industries at large,” Hull said. Located between Fair Oaks Ranch and Boerne, the store offers contemporary designs without the commute.

The curated brand list brings major labels closer to home, stemming from Hull’s buying trips in New York. Anchored by “cult classic” FRAME, the boutique also features Aviator Nation, Krewe, Oncept, and Pistola, alongside artisanal jewelry crafted by Texas designer Christina Greene.

“We want every single person who comes in to feel a very elevated, experiential shopping experience,” Hull said. The store aims to minimize the frustrations many women, like herself, feel when boutique shopping. Hull is preparing Monkee’s of Fair Oaks to be a “one‑stop‑shop” for women in the Lemon Creek Ranch community.

The opening celebration began with a confetti pop at 9:30 a.m., followed by the official door opening at 10 a.m., when attendees flowed throughout the 1,200‑square‑foot boutique.

Festivities continued throughout the weekend, where guests enjoyed champagne, light bites, and giveaways featuring local partners.
